Choose a school with strong credentials, a solid reputation, and a curriculum approved by India’s aviation regulator. Look for quality infrastructure, good industry connections, and experienced faculty.
If you are technically inclined, curious, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on problem solving, AME could be a good fit. Discuss with family/mentors and evaluate your long-term interest in aviation maintenance.
IndiGo collaborates only with select schools that demonstrate exceptional training standards, safety culture, and consistent performance.
The process includes:
Shortlisted candidates will be issued a Letter of Intent by IndiGo.
While the program is designed to meet IndiGo’s standards, employment depends on organizational requirements, individual performance, and mandatory certifications.
Critical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork, technical aptitude, discipline, and strong communication skills.
Although the program trains you, achieving a DGCA AME license depends on clearing DGCA modules and gaining the required hands-on experience as per regulatory standards.
